Finding the perfect Blush

Hi Lovely's

I'm so sorry i haven't been up to much, still feeling rubbish. So here are a few makeup tips i hope you enjoy and give them a go.

1. The perfect Blush

Wearing blusher will make your face glow and look alive.

Powder and gel blush is good for oily skin where as cream is best for dry normal skin.

Depending on what your skin tone is you will need to use a lighter or darker shade of blusher, darker skin will need a lighter colour, and light skin will need a more natural colour.

Make sure you buy some quality blush brushes, they will give you much better results rather then a cheap brush.

Always start with less blush on your brush as it is easy to apply more then what it is to take it off.

Don't smile when applying your blush as it lifts your cheeks and will make your blush look low once you stop smiling, create a fish face look as it will bring out your cheek bones.

If you find you have applied to much blush try using powder to cover over and dull it down.

Using an angled brush will help apply the blush easier

Always use the correct blush that will complement your skin tone.

  • Blond and ginger hair with olive complexion - blush of oranges tones.
  • Dark and auburn haired with fair complexion - pastel blush, called powdered.
  • Pale or grey skin - salmon, coral or pink blush.
  • Bright ginger hair or wheat blond hair and radiant complexion - peach and golden brown blush.
  • Dark and almost brown skin - plum, fuchsia or chocolate blush.
