The ones i wont let get away! Urban Decay, Nanshy brushes.

Hey,

So i'm going to jump straight in, Urban Decay what can i say but wow i want all of they gorgeous products but there are a few i would love to try, The shadow box it contains 12 beautiful eye shadows metallic  and shimmer you could achive so many looks from just this one palette, i am missing out on pure beauty here, have any of you got this or are you wanting to try it like me! Once i get my hands on one i will 100% do a review with so many pictures. Urban decay just do the most amazing looking makeup products. It retails at £22.00 as a high end well known quality product i would be willing to pay out for this.

Makeup brushes, oh my on twitter there is a company called Nanshy and they sell the most sort after brushes they are truly beautiful, Black handle and white brush or the other way around i am so jealous of everyone who owns these brushes, they do a luxury makeup brush set which contain 13 brushes and retails at £34.95, they also sell they eye brush set which is 7 brushes and retails at £29.95. These are very elegant and i'd feel a million dollars just applying my makeup with them.

If you have either of the items i would love to know your thoughts on them, i will be getting one of these makeup brush set as well.

Makeup Revolution

Hi,

I don't know about you but i keep hearing nothing but praise to makeup revolution people are always saying how much they love there products and how cheap they are. Lipsticks for £1 eye shadows for £3. When i was out shopping in super drugs i did see there beautiful products but with a one year old in tow i didn't have enough time to browse and buy :(  so i will defiantly be buying some of there beautiful makeup soon! 

Here are a few of there products so you can see how beautiful there are.

Blushing Hearts, now these just look amazing i love the name as well, and at £4.99 you can't go wrong!

Here are just a few shades in there lipstick range! all i can say is wow, these look amazing and from reading peoples thoughts i know there are very pigmented, and the colours are brilliant. These sell from £1 now you can not go wrong.

And finally we have the revolution eye shadow palette, which has 14 colours a high lighter and brow shader. These vary in dark to light so many looks achievable from this one palette, this cost £7.95 which is a good price for that many colours and being highly pigmented you will not need to use lots.

Well i hope you have enjoyed my thoughts on these products, i will be buying myself some soon so i can show you and tell you my honest thoughts.

Mascara Dupe

Hi,

So tonight after doing some research i'm going to share some products that are more expensive and more affordable but are very similar to each other. 

1st up we have, Benefit yes there real mascara. I have read so many good reviews on this mascara it is suppose to be amazing and give your eyelashes such a beautiful look. So i will be giving this a go it retails at £19.50 which to some people is a lot of money to spend on mascara but if you suffer with those no existence eye lashes this could be for you!  

2nd we have w7 Lashtastic, as you all know i'm a sucker for w7 makeup but i have seen many people post saying its a dupe to benefit yes there real mascara, its suppose to give you the same gorgeous long lashes as benefits, and i use this mascara on a daily bases and i know it truly does work wonders, it does not clump your lashes together and in some amazing way it seems to make them look longer, thicker and beautiful. I truly do love this w7 mascara but as i said i will be giving benefits a go so i can compare the two for myself.

Halloween makeup Trial

Hi,

So today i decided to do a few practice run's of Halloween makeup. I have had so much fun doing this and my boy's also enjoyed watching me change in to a few different things! 

The first one i went for was a sugar skull, i used the w7 vamp me up kit as well as w7 black eyeliner liquid and pencil for a few details on my look. If your looking for an easy Halloween makeup look i would say this is for you, a whole white face, two black circles then fill in with your desired colour. Do some petals around your circles, a black upside down heart on your nose. I unfortunately didn't have any gems to add the finish affect, but if you do it will give your sugar skull a more beautiful look. Below is a picture of my finished face.

As you can see i went for red eyes as i wanted something bright that would stand out, my lip lines are not perfect, but i couldn't find my eyeliner sharpener, with a little more effort and some gems i think this would look brilliant.

The second look i went  for was a skeleton i love skulls, this was another easy look to achive a whole white face, two black eyes, a black nose similar to the sugar skull but with the top bit cut out, along the jaw line colour it in all black for the affect of missing jaw. For this look i used the same w7 makeup set vamp me up. This skeleton is another easy to achive look so if your not brilliant at makeup or your in a last minute rush this maybe for you. Below is a picture of my achieved look, i'm not happy with the teeth as i didn't get the correct look i wanted, i would have liked them to be more smudged and more defined, but this was just a trial run so once i try them again i will upload pictures again, and they will be better.

As you can see in the picture below i choose a liquid eyeliner for thinner more sharper strokes the above skeleton i used a pencil eyeliner for the mouth which did not give me the look i wanted as i found the pencil to thick.

Quick Halloween Nails

So seeing as Halloween is only a few days away now, while i had a spare five minuets i did a quick go at some nail art, its not the best i need to invest in some new nail art bits and new varnishes. Here's a picture of what i did like i said not perfect but i had fun!

MUA lip stain

Hi, 

Well what can i say i have use so many lip stains in the past and to be honest i have found them all rather rubbish. Now i have found MUA lip stain and WOW! what an amazing product it is so well pigmented it has a lovely soft applying tip, is smells absolutely delicious.


I applied this lip stain at 8am and it has taken me through the whole day to 10pm without needing one, yes one touch up! i am so happy with this product i will 100% buying more in different colours, i went for fruitilicious a gorgeous pinky red shade, beautiful once on your lips.

It comes in a lovely pink applicator, which is very eye catching this caught my eye so i decided to give it a go, and i am so happy i did fo the price of £3.00 this is a makeup must have! As they advertise on the product kiss proof is is certainly that, no false misleading status. I hate it when i but something because it says none smudge, long lasting but is the total opposite! 

MUA makeup academy have created a truly amazing lip stain, i purchased it from superdrugs but now after using it i wish i had brought more! i feel a trip coming on. I am raving about this product because it is so good and worth your effort to purchase and give it a go, i know you will love it as much as me. 


With this lip stain i went for a natural makeup look and used w7 lashtastic which made my lashes feel a million dollers as always! this is my mascara of the moment for sure, but with my natural look my lips stood out a mile and i loved it they we're soft smelt to die for and look fantastic even if i am blowing my own trumpet a bit. 

I think at the moment i am enjoying lip stain more then lipsticks as they do give you that long lasting lip colour and with three children i don't always find time for a makeup re-touch, so do give this little lifesaver a go, share your thoughts with me, as i would be so happy to hear what you think of it.

Keeping Healthy hair

Healthy beautiful hair is a must have, check out these tips to keep your hair in good shape.

1. Don't wash your hair every day as you are washing out all the natural goodness, the oils in your hair are good, so sometimes its good to have a bit of grease.

2. Always use a good quality conditioner after shampooing, try and use a leave in conditioner at least once a week, also use a deep conditioning treatment once a month.

3. Use a comb after you have washed your hair, it will be less harsh then a brush, using your fingers can cause damage and also hair loss as it will pull at the roots.

4. once your hair is dry try not to brush or comb your hair, leave it.

5. Buy a shampoo and conditioner that suits your hair type, if you dye your hair alot, get a colour hold set.

6. try and let your hair dry naturally, unless you have no other option, using a hair dryer can cause split ends.

7. If you use a hairdryer or straighteners a lot the use a hair protection spray, it will protect your hair from heat damage.

8. Try and get a trim every 6 to 8 weeks, to cut dead and split ends, it will keep your hair in top shape.

9. Aim for a loose up tie, as pulling your hair out of a tie can cause lots of damage to your hair, and let your hair down once you go to bed.

Healthy skin

Keeping your skin fresh, beautiful and healthy! 


Some tips on how to do this, hope your enjoy and find them helpful.

1. Eat less sugar, its the added sugar that will harm your skin, cut down and eat more fruit.

2. When you can sit in the sun, yes too much is bad fr your skin, but not enough is also bad for you.

3. Fish will create oils that will clean your skin and help get rid of the bad oils, Salmon being one of the best it will help, hair eyes teeth and skin.

4. Use facial cleansers, try a few different ones until the get the right one for you.

5. Plenty of water, keep hydrated its good for you and your skin.

6. Don't over wash your face, as you will wash all the natural oils out.

7. Cut back on acidic food, it can affect skin, weaken bones and muscles.

Strong, healthy lashes

Hi, 

The post have been slow today i know feel like i'm letting you all down as well as myself! Its just not good enough, i've been putting my you tube bits together it seems to be taking longer then i hoped, but by next week i should 100% be up and filming, i so excited make up is such a passion for me and being able to share it with other people and giving them the knowledge on a product that there not sure about, just makes you feel like you did something good. Ha look at me mother Teresa, no i just enjoy makeup so much i need to up my collection and maybe invest in some high end products. I feel like i need those bits as well. Tonight i will be posting some tips, and tomorrow will be my reviews. 


Eyelashes: we all love lavishing them with mascara, but we need to look after them as well, because there are a big part of our face, so a few tips on how to keep strong and healthy lashes.

1.Using a  small amount of Vaseline rubbed between two fingers, gently rub it in to your eyelashes.

2. Rub the Vaseline on to your eyes lids all the way to the crease and down to your water line.

3. Apply the left over jelly to your bottom lashes as though you are applying mascara.

4. Do this routine before bed so it can sink in to your lashes.

5. Wipe your eyes gently with a cloth and warm water.


This should give your lashes a much longer look by the morning, helping them to look healthy.

w7 cosmic nail dust

Hi, 

So I ordered some w7 cosmic nail dust, it just looked to beautiful and glittery not to give it a try. My first thoughts on it was wow a beautiful container full of glitter! I brought it in black but there are many more colours to purchase, pink, blue and green are just a few.


I painted my nails a base coat of baby blue which i chose for a winter affect, i need to purchase some autumn colours because there are so many beautiful fall inspired colours on the market at the moment.

To apply the glitter your nails need to be wet so if you are using a fast drying polish make sure you act quickly, otherwise you will not get the affect. You only need to gently sprinkle the glitter as i made the mistake of shaking to hard and a lot of glitter came out, so i started again but this time shook it gently and got an even affect of glitter. 

This cost £3.95 but you get a large bottle of glitter and should not need a lot on your nail, depending on what design you want to achive, i will be trying glitter tips as i think this would be a lovely affect.


For anyone wanting a simple nail glitter i think this is perfect, easy to use and as i said comes in a variety of beautiful colours you could even mix and match.

I am yet to try w7nail polish but i have seen pictures of them and they have some gorgeous colours, also they do a home shellac kit which looks amazing, im not sure if this is on sale yet, but it an item to look out for! 

I hope you enjoy this cosmic glitter if you do decide to purchase it. I'm sure you love it as much as i do.

Beautiful Makeup

Hi,

So I've been looking for natural and beautiful makeup sometimes its nice not to have loads of product and look natural but still elegant and beautiful.

Keira knightly has a natural beauty and with the makeup she is wearing makes it stand out more, Her eye makeup is elegant but there's not lots on there. Nice skin colour lips and a soft blush, loose wave curls tied back. This makeup looks simple but it could be used for more occasions then just every day.

This look for me sum's it up beautiful simple eyeliner, false lashes and red lipstick. An easy look to pull off suttle blusher and a very elegant eyes. This look for me would be a lovelt evey day look, you could add some colour to the eyes for an evening look but either way i love it!

Just a couple of looks that i thought where both beautiful and simple.

Halloween!

Hi,

So here is some Halloween inspired makeup, I've chosen a few that i think are truly brilliant, i'm off to a party myself and will be doing a sugar skull face, i love skulls i also have tattoos of them anyway back to the makeup. I would love to be able to re-create some of these i think an investment in some quality face paint is in order!

1st up is a Living dead doll, this one is amazing, so much better then my quick go at it, its beautiful yet perfect for the occasion! 

Beauty vs Death, this is absolutely fantastic i am in love, i love the use of pink hair on one side as well it set's the look, and having beautiful makeup on one side gives this a perfect finish.

I've gone for another living dead doll, i think this maybe a big look this Halloween, its easy but can be made up in so many different ways, i love this one for the use of bright pink eye shadow and lips, and an extra special bit they contact lenses!

5 tips for flawless foundation

So everyone wants there foundation to look natural and perfect, not give you an orange complexion or streak. So here are a few tips for flawless foundation.


1. Use a brush buff the foundation in to your skin with light circular motions, this uses less product but gives you more coverage.

2. Apply foundation everywhere, pass your jaw line and on to your neck you want to blend it. Blend a little foundation on your eye lids and lips to give the products a true colour.

3. Use a highlighter under foundation, it will give your skin a glow as sometime your foundation can begin to look a little dull through out the day.

4. Using a beauty blender can give you a flawless look, it will keep in the foundation and give just the right amount.

5.Prep you skin, make sure your skin is clean and moisturized wait 5 minuets then apply you makeup.



So just a few tip that i have found, and they do help give you a more flawless look.

10 ways to make your eyes pop!

Morning all hope everyone enjoyed there extra hour in bed, my youngest son was still up at 5.45!

Here are a few tips to make your eyes stand out and look beautiful.


1. Using a flesh coloured liner on your water line will make your eyes look brighter and bigger.

2. Apply highlighter to your brow cheeks.

3. Apply concealer under your eyes after foundation to give more camouflage.

4. To correct makeup mistakes use a q-tip with makeup remover on to clean away the mistakes easily.

5. To make your eye colour stand out, apply black liner around the entire eye including the water line.

6. Press eye shadow on with a brush or your finger, it will give you a more pigmented look.

7. Camouflage crows feet with a lighter concealer.

8. Use two colours that are similar but different like a light purple and dark purple to give your eyes dimension.

9. For a unique look, add a bright colour shadow to the inner corners of your eyes.

10. Pair a black liner with a pale eye shadow, all over the lid and a darker shade in the crease, to make your eyes pop.

I've asked my friends what are there 10 must have products, below is what they said they couldn't live with out.


1. Blush, it can give your face a total uplift and brighten up.

2. Concealer, it can hide dark circles , spots and blemishes the perfect little trick kit. 

3. Eye cream, You can beat ageing and getting wrinkles but you can keep the process from happening with a quality eye cream, used daily.

4. BB cream, the little miracle in a tube? it offers coverage to hide the worst blemishes and it treats them what more could you wish for.

5. Mascara, long beautiful lashes mascara can give your eyes a bigger look in a matter of seconds.

6. Dry shampoo, when you just don't have the time to wash your hair, dry shampoo is a must have and life saver it gives you hair the perfect fresh look and volume.

7. Face wipes, after a long day and night all you want to do is get into bed, but before you do grab a face wipe simple and easy take all the days makeup off and freshen up.

8. Sun cream, no matter the weather always put on sun cream uv can travel through cloud and is sometimes at its strongest, protect the skin your in.

9. Lip balm, nice moist lips always look nicer then dull dry cracked lips, apply lip balm daily for lush lips.

Do's and don'ts to makeup

Here are some make up do's and don'ts, even thou there should be no rules when it comes to makeup, sometimes there are just somethings that should be a no no! 

1. Do use mascara! it will open your eyes giving them a larger and more defined look.

2. Don't apply more mascara on to already dried mascara, it will make them clump together and won't give you a perfect look.

3. Do highlight and contour, it will allow your cheek bones to look more pronounced and forehead smaller.

4. Do not forget to blend your contour, spend 4 to 5 minutes buffing out your contour, this will eliminate harsh lines.

5. Do not use your fingers to apply foundation,it will not give you a even finish and can make your foundation look cheap and patchy.

6. Do use a foundation brush, it will give you an even finish and you makeup will look flawless if applied correctly.

7. Don't use more then four colours on your lids, it can give you a dirty unfinished look.

8. Do use more then one colour, it will give you eyes depth and dimension you can also become more creative with your looks then one simple colour.

9. Do fill your eye brows in, most of us don't have the perfect shaped and full eyebrows naturally,  so shaping them will give a beautiful natural look if done correctly. 

10. Do not neglect your eyebrows, they are one of the biggest features on your face and if they look wrong they can throw your complete look, treat yourself to having your eyebrows waxed or tweezed professionally.

A few top beauty tips that i've found

Hi,

Here are just a few top beauty tips that i have found, i have tried a few out. If you give them a go let me know if they work for you.

1.Freeze your eyeliner, does it crumble when your applying it? pop it in the freezer 15 mins before use it should then glide along your lash line smoothly.

2. De-puff your eyes with raw potato, Cut two clean slices and apply them under yours eyes for 10 mins and it will reduce the puffiness. 

3. Do not use make up sponges, they soak up more product, use a foundation brush instead it allows a more even and prestigious application.

4. Avoid overly rosy cheeks, give yourself a natural glow so start your brush two fingers widths away from your nose. Only apply on the apples of your cheeks this will give you a natural glow with out going too over the top.

5. Keep your misbehaving brows in place, spritz an old tooth brush with hairspray then brush your brows in your desired style even the most stray hairs will stay put.

6. You have no makeup remover? try lotion, use body lotion instead it does work especially on tough mascara.

7. Don't pop it, do not pop your spots, you have more chance of scaring if you pop them, it will also spread bacteria to other parts of your face causing more spots.

8. Use a flat iron to create curls, not only can you use them to straighten your hair, but also achive beautiful curls.

9. Microwave lotion in to luxury, if you can't afford a spa day, put your favorite lotion in the microwave for 10 seconds make sure its not to hot, apply and relax.

10. Tweezing tips, before you begin tweezing soften your skin, dab your skin with a cotton wall ball soaked in warm water or lotion, do it in the direction of your hair growth.

How to get lovely curls with straightners

Hi,


Hope your all well, i would love nothing more then to have curls at time but i was blessed with natural straight hair, and it refuses to do most things i want it to, but i know people who have used there straighteners as curlers and had brilliant results. So here are a few tips to achieve these curls.


1. Curls with Straighteners

Always have completely dry hair, as damp or wet hair will not curl as well.If you dry your hair with a hairdryer use mousse as it will give your hair volume.


Use a pair of thin flat straighteners, a flat paddle style pair won't be able to do curls as it will be harder to wrap and hold, have them on minimum heat unless your hair is course and thick.

Apply heat protection so it creates a protective film so your hair does not just frizzle, spray it over you hair and comb gently. Or run you fingers softly through your hair, if you have thick dense hair do a section at a time.


Always part your hair in to sections so you get the best results, trying to do to much in one go will not get the best results, Start off at your scalp close to your neck only work with as much as you can in one go.

Smaller sections will make smaller tighter curls, where as bigger sections will give you bigger looser curls. You can always mix the size up for a different look you don't have to stay at one size.

For a looser curl look, run your fingers through your hair and give it a tousle, it will give you a more natural, relaxed look.

If you want more hold, put a light spray of hairspray over the curls to keep them in place, you can always use a anti-humidity spray if your going to get hot through out the day or evening.

You may want to get someone to help you if you have long hair and to prevent you from burning yourself.

Curls can add a lovely look to straight hair if you just put a couple on top.

Ceramic straighteners are better for your hair as metal ones will damage your hair sharft.

If you don't feel comfortable using straighteners, then look in to buying yourself a quality pair of curlers.

Today's reviews and makeup

Hi,

So today i'm going to review the new make up that i'm wearing, i've gone for MUA extreme felt liner in black and w7 go west! in the shade pink tease.


Firstly MUA makeup academy extreme felt liner, comes in a nice think easy to hold pen it looks nice as well as giving you all the information you need and want. Once opened there is a nice thin ended felt. It gives you a lovely smooth application perfect for a nice elegant finish. I've tried a lot of eyeliner and i find felts are an easy one to use, but you can get different looks with liquid eyeliner gives you. I brought this at super drug for £2.00 what a bargain price i would highly recommend this eyeliner for beginners and its a easy use eyeliner, not much effort needs to be put in for a simple look. So for me this is a must buy. I'm new to trying out MUA products and im very happy with the quality and price, the look of the product as well.


w7 Go west matt lipstick, another quality w7 product I've never tried matt lipstick but have read some amazing reviews on it, so i thought its about tie i gave it a go. Being a big fan of w7 products i opted for this brand. On looks it comes in the same container as w7 nude kiss which i also love, this has fancy pink writing on a sleek black lipstick tube. the colour i chose was pink tease at the moment i'm a big fan of pinks having dark brown hair i feel it emphasize's my lips which is nice. Easy to apply and once on it give you a beautiful matt finish, the quality of this lipstick is yet again outstanding i payed £2.99 for this lipstick which i think is a great price. I will most defiantly be buying matt lipsticks from now on as it gives you a complete different look to what shiny lipstick does, so overall i rate this a 10, for price and quality. I will be recommending this to friends because of price and effect as well as quality.
