Laval Makeup

Hey Guy's

Sorry for the delay my internet decided to give up again last night, but its back and so here is my review on Laval Makeup!

I had previously purchased a pressed powder from Ebay that was Laval and i had been very impressed by it, so i decided to contact the company to see if i could possibly  review a couple of there other products, they e-mailed me back and very kindly sent me some more products.

What i was sent:

2 large foundations in soft tan and beige.
1 eye shadow palette which contains 9 different colours.
1 blusher.
1 mascara.
1 felt eye liner.
3 lipsticks.
1 face shimmer.

My first thoughts on these products where wow! they all looked lovely and well made. The foundations are easy to apply and give a well even cover its not cheap so there is no need for large amounts just your normal amount, the soft tan is to dark from my natural skin tone but the beige is a perfect match. My only fault with the foundation is the smell its not horrible but has a strange smell to it, but its not of putting.

The 9 eye shadows are very well pigmented and no need for large amounts to be applied, i love all of the colours and you can achive many different looks with there being so many, the all have a lovely shimmer to them which i love, i have used these and i got alot of complements.

The face shimmer is also to dark for my natural skin tone, as it is a dark tan colour but it has a lovely shimmer to it and would be lovely if it suited you.

The lipsticks well i love all of them, these come in red desire (261), iced pink (262) and peach dream (258) they have a lovely smooth finish and cover well, they come in lack and gold containers which gives them a nice elegant look.

I love felt eye liners so i love this one its easy to use, give's you a nice smooth line, its in dark black i only normally go for black eye liners i am yet to try different coloured ones.

Mascara is also in black and give you an easy application, its not clumpy which is the worse thing with mascaras, it gives your lashes a longer look with complete coverage.  I could not be with out mascara and have so many this is a great brand.

The blusher comes in the shade Frosted Pink, which is lovely the perfect colour for me i love rosy coloured cheeks as long as you don't apply to much to your blusher brush it gives you a lovely finish.

So my thoughts on this brand its well made, and comes lovely presented all of the products are well made and i would be happy to but some more products knowing im getting good products. I would buy the foundations in the correct colours and also would love to buy some more eye shadows.

Thank you for reading

I hope you have enjoyed.

Drop Dead Gorgeous Nails

Hey Beauties,

So on my recent shopping trip i picked up some great little offers, one of them was a nail art kit called drop dead gorgeous 3d nails. So tonight i have tested this product and here are my thoughts on this £2.50 little kit!

First up it comes in a beautiful box black with gold glitter trim, so a very elegant look. I have never seen this brand before and usually i spend loads on separate nail art products, so to have a complete look in one box was perfect! As i said this kit cost me £2.50 in my local Tesco beauty isle bargain.

I love beautiful looking nails and always try to keep mine looking beautiful, when people see my hands i want them to see i take care of them. Anyway back to the product itself the nail varnish is a very good consistency not too runny or thick easy to apply and i use three coats worth, which is far less then i have use with some other nail polishes.
The instructions are on the back: It tell's you to apply the 3d balls when the polish is tacky, so i followed them it is a very simple look to achive! and the results are great, i have only covered one nail on each hand with the 3d balls and it looks very effective. I used the lid of a que-tip pot to hold my chosen finger over and sprinkle the balls on to it once i was finished i used the handy supplied funnel to tip the excess balls back into the jar so i didn't loose any, or have to throw them away, i love the fact that they supplied you with one!

Once i had let the nail varnish dry and made sure it was set i  applied a clear top coat over every nail and two coats on top of the 3d nails to set them a little better. The only worry i have about them is how long they will last??

My overall thoughts on this product though is i would defiantly buy more products from there range, i am happy at how easy and simple it was to get a beautiful 3d nail look.

Thank you for reading, and i hope you have enjoyed my little bargain buy!

Liquor and Poker Denim!

Hey guy's

So i'm adding fashion into my blog as makeup up and fashion kinda go hand in hand right?!
Who does not go makeup and clothes shopping, i am a sucker for clothes especially for denim seriously i must own about 12 pairs of jeans 4 skirts i use to have a couple of denim jackets.

About Liquor & Poker:
Liquor & Poker are a Birmingham based label, and they eat, sleep, drink denim so perfect for me really lol! There not afraid to take the risk's, there collection consists of ripped up skinny jeans, short dungarees and denim jackets!
So i'm going to share a few of there collection with you all, these are my want's. Check out http://liquornpoker.myshopify.com/collections/shop for more great items!

First up:
Skinny Jeans With Extreme Distressing Ripped Knees!
First off: i love black jeans, for me that set the rest of my outfit, being dark you can pull any top off by wearing black jeans! also i'm one for ripped jeans in the past i have even created my own distressed/ripped jeans. Also with a zip you have the option of unzipping and rolling up, these are a big like for me i would even put a pair of crazy leggings underneath, so it shows through the rips, a pair of biker boots and a leather jacket! would piece  this together nicely.  These are £40.00 on the Liquor and poker website!

Second:  Liquor & Poker Mom Jeans With All Over Rip Detail

I love the washed out look of these jeans and the less dramatic ripped look. These would go great with a fresh white t-shirt and some trainers or pumps. I'm loving the really worn look on the bum as well, i really want these jeans even being a cropped jean i'd wear them all year round. Fashion shouldn't stop because its cold! These are also available from Liquor & poker online for £40.00.

Liquor & Poker Dungaree's With American Flag Print

Thirdly:  I'm not a big one normally for dungarees, but i could really see myself in these i love the american flag look on them and the washed grey colour. These would be perfect in summer, but also could be yet again paired up with leggings and pumps and a denim jacket Double denim!! The worn look around the bottoms as well sets these off for me, these would be perfect festival wear! paired up with a bumbag and a flower headband, i can just picture this look now! These are available on ASOS for £38.00.

So here are just a few items that i love, but i could sit and write all day about these clothes! If your a lover of being different and denim i highly recommend taking a look for yourself at Liquor & Poker.

I hope you have enjoyed reading.

Firstly i love the boxes these products come in they very elegant, and the actual packaging is also beautiful i love the Matt black finish to all of them.

Along came Betty!

Hey,

So another little steal i picked up to was a brand i have never heard of called Along came Betty, a three tier bath set beautifully packaged and such great value for the amount of products you are getting.

This set contains:
1. large Shimmer me softly bath crystals.
Directions on how to use:
Pour your bath crystals in to warm water, stir until dissolve, soak and enjoy!
200g

2, Cream of all creams body lotion, Peach and apricot
Directions on how to use:
Apply liberally to skin and massage gently from top to toe.
100ml

3, Say you scrub me, gentle skin buffer.
Directions how to use:
Massage on damp skin as you bathe or shower work into a lather and rinse off.
50ml

For all of these beautiful products it cost me £2.50! so how could i resist, yet again a lovely gift for someone else or just yourself.

The shimmer me softly crystals have a gorgeous rose scent to them and are a light pink in colour.

Cream of all creams really is so delightful to smell i could eat it a beautiful aroma of peach and apricot, leaves your skin soft, smooth and beautiful smelling.

Say you scrub me also has a fruity scent as well as a similar smell to Clearasil but this is probably because it is a skin buffer.

For a brand that i have not come across before i am more then delighted by all of there products so far, and will be keeping my eyes open for more of this range.

It is the perfect stress relief combination, just add a few candles and relax!

Hope you have enjoyed reading

Vaseline Rosy pouch

hey, Evening guy's

So i popped out to my local super market which is Tesco's, and as Christmas is coming there is festive gifts every where! So after having a little look about this little beauty caught my eye. I can say i have never seen a Vaseline as gorgeous as this one. A lovely little leather effect case in red and gold and pink perfect for a gift.
So how could i resist not buying this, the price was £2.50 which i think is very reasonable for such a well made and reliable lip balm.

Inside it contains a tin of Vaseline in rosy red, the scent is rose and almond oil, and is smells beautiful a fresh rose smell with a hint of almond.
I am so in love with little bargain, inside the carry case there is a small compact mirror, perfect size to apply your Vaseline!
Once applied to your lips its give them a lovely rose shimmer look. Vaseline is one of my winter must haves as its such a trusted brand.
So for me this is a perfect little gift for someone, or like me just for yourself.

Hope you enjoyed my thoughts

Cracked lip remedies at home!

Evening Guy's

I don't know about you but this cold weather always gives me terrible cracked and dry lips, i use shop brought products but i wanted to see if there was ways to help but from home, so here they are!

1. Keep hydrated, try and drink around 8 glasses of water a day. When the body is dehydrated it show from your lips.

2. Do not pick or lick your lips, oh my gosh i know how hard it is not to do this though, but it can dry your lips out more and cause cold sore's and infection.

3. Exfoliate your lips before applying lip balms, using a sugar massage it gently into your lips and rinse with warm water they should feel soft renewed.

4. Make sure you pick a well branded trusted lip balm, preferably containing, Beeswax, almond oil or shea butter. If really bad avoid lipstick as it can dry your lips out.

5. Rubbing aloe vera into you lips can sooth if they are very painful, even to painful to smile.

6. When out in the sun make sure you apply sun cream or special lip creams as the sun can damage your skin as well as lips.

7.  Before bed apply a large amount of lip balm, so it has a chance to soak into your lips

8. If the skin is flaky or peeling do not pick it off

9. If you feel you need to lick your lips apply lip balm instead or drink an ice cold drink

10. Take a soft tooth brush, wet it and exfoliate your lips, morning and night.

I hope this helps, i have tried most of them and my lips are now in better condition!
